Overview of Jigyasa University

The university was founded in collaboration with the TALEEM Research Foundation, which was created by Shri Subhash Chandra, Chairman of Essel Group, in 1995.

It operates under the Uttarakhand (Amendment) Act No. 3 of 2011 and is recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
