Mahindra University was established under the Telangana State Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018, and officially recognized by the Government of Telangana through Ordinance No. 1 of 2020 on May 20, 2020. This recognition was confirmed by the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and published in the Telangana Gazette.
