The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), formerly known as NITIE, was established in 1963 with support from the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Renowned as one of India’s top business schools, IIM Mumbai ranked seventh among management institutes in the 2023 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). For the 2024 placement season, IIM Mumbai recorded impressive figures, with the highest package reaching INR 54 LPA and an average package for the top 50% standing at INR 33.84 LPA. Top recruiters included industry giants like Amazon, EY, Flipkart, Microsoft, Deloitte, and Coca Cola.
