OVERVIEW
Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Science which is popularly known as ASCOMS has been around since 1995. It has been over 30 years since the college has 30 years for the college since the college has been providing UG and PG courses for budding Medicos who are interested in fields like surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, Dermatology etc.
The college is affiliated with the University of Jammu and recognized by the Medical Council of India.Students can easily take admission through the National Eligibility Come Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the NTA. Boasting of modern infrastructure the college is equipped with various Laboratories libraries and even a sports complex as the college keeps the recreation of the students in special focus.
Apart from all this, the college is a favourite of budding Medicos as it has experienced faculty members and is also associated with one of the biggest hospitals of Jammu, Acharya Shri Chander Hospital having 300 beds. The teaching hospital vows to provide students with practical knowledge as students gather experience working under famous doctors
