Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science
Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), located in Indore, was established in 1952 and has since become a prominent educational institution in Madhya Pradesh and the western region of India. Over its remarkable seventy-year history, SGSITS has consistently ranked among the top institutes nationally, including recognition within the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), overseen by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
In 1989, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) designated SGSITS as an autonomous institution, allowing it to operate independently while being affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (the University of Technology of M.P.) in Bhopal.
The institute currently offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, including ten undergraduate courses and twenty-four postgraduate courses, with specializations in various fields such as Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, and Pharmacy.
The campus is equipped with modern facilities, including spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, and various amenities to support student life. Accommodations include four boys’ hostels, three girls’ hostels, and a transit hostel.
