NEET UG Counselling Overview

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national-level medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. The Medical Education Government of Rajasthan organizes the Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses.

5.Security Deposit & Choice Filling Process
(Security deposit applicable during choice filling for MBBS Seats)
Deposition of security amount of ₹5 Lakh (This amount of ₹5 Lakh counselling board will send to your allotted college and it will be adjusted in first-year college fees.)
You have to deposit ₹5 Lakh at the given link by counselling board at the time of college choice filling form.

Eligibility Criteria

  • NEET Entrance Exam: Must have passed the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
    • Minimum marks required: General category – 50%, SC/ST category – 40%, Physically Handicapped category – 45%.
  • Age Limit:
    • Minimum: 17 years on or before December 31, 2024.
    • Maximum: 25 years as of June 17, 2024 (relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, ST-STA, OBC, MBC, and PwD candidates).

Counselling Fees

  • General Category: ₹2000
  • SC/ST Category: ₹1200

Counselling Process

  1. Registration:
    • Register by filling out the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
  2. Publishing Merit List:
    • State merit list will be published after application form submission.
  3. Documents Verification:
    • Report to verification centers with required documents as per merit rank.
  4. Choice Filling and Locking:
    • Fill and lock choices of courses and colleges.
  5. Seat Allotment:
    • Seats will be allotted based on choices filled, seat availability, merit rank, and reservation.
  6. Reporting:
    • Report to the allotted college within the specified dates.

Application Form Filling Steps

  1. Visit Official Website:
    • Access the official website for registration.
  2. Create SSO Id:
    • Use Gmail/Facebook/Aadhar Card/Twitter to create an SSO Id.
  3. Login:
    • Log in with the generated SSO Id and password.
  4. Application Form:
    • Select “HTE” under the “Citizen” tab, then fill in the details.
  5. Payment:
    • Pay the registration fee and download the paid challan.
  6. Upload Documents:
    • Upload photograph, signature, and mark sheets as per the required formats.
  7. Final Submission:
    • Review the form and click “Final Lock & Submit”.
